THE SECRET IS OUT!!
Thats right, Moab is AMAZING in the winter, and quiet! All of the goods without any huge crowds, and no traffic! The weather is mild during the day but comfortable! December is a great month with a strong chance for snow, which brings a whole new look to the desert!
Much like my other Moab adventures this will be limited to 6 participants, and will include 3 days of in-field and classroom instruction!
The registration fee for this workshop will be a special "Christmas" rate, at $950.00!!!!!
**All participants are responsible for their travel to and from locations, and will need to book lodging for December 6th, and 7th and 8th.
Days are short here in the winter but potential for epic sunrises and sunsets is big! during our time we will visit Canyonlands, Arches and Deadhorse Point and remain flexible to chase the weather! December is also great for cloud inversion which is an extremely awesome and unique set of conditions, filling the deep canyons with dense fog!!! This usually happens at higher elevations overlooking deep canyons like in Canyonlands or Deadhorse point!
We will kick it all off with a meet & greet Thursday December 6th at 6pm at Pasta Jays for a hearty Italian meal where we will be get to know each other and talk about the workshop, impending weather, locations, etc...
Each morning we will rise early to meet and travel to our sunrise location which will depend on the weather, and clouds, we will shoot as long as we can after that, breaking mid morning for lunch and gathering for a post processing session before we head back out for sunset.
As with all things, our time will come to an end on Sunday morning the 9th.
Things you'll need and want:
•Your camera, preferably something with good low light performance to truly take advantage of the dark skies of Moab.
