There is a time of day, hovering between sunset and darkness where the forest whispers become screams, the trees talk, the birds sing louder, as if rejoicing. When you can sit in your own silence and dissolve into nature you can see and hear things that most would never take notice of.
This waterfall has been something I've wanted to see for a very long time. The basalt cliffs, a thunderous stream carving its way through the forest and stone. I was racing the light as I free climbed down the steep near vertical cliff down to the water, alone, and inspired. The warm, lingering light of sunset casting its glow on the face of Tokatee falls.
