Elowah falls, in the Columbia River Gorge, near Portland, Oregon has been a place I have wanted to visit long before photography was even a notion for me. The thin, tall (much larger than expected) falls, green mossy rocks and lush forest was a sight I could only imagine in my dreams, and then I was there and completely awed by the scene. Standing in the cool water, rushing around my legs, the sun breaking trough the clouds and canopy, the place completely to myself. I spent hours here just visiting, and soaking it in. I even went back on another occasion just to say goodbye.
